About the role

You'll run the lines. You'll help commission a new factory, turn the first trials into a stable daily plan, and then make every shift a little better than the last: more output, less waste and every batch recorded. You'll report to the Plant Manager.

What you'll do

• Plan and supervise daily production across mixing, depositing, baking, cooling, filling and packing
• Help commission and trial new equipment, and write the first standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Set and track line KPIs (output, yield, waste, downtime, OEE) and lead improvement work
• Make sure every batch record is complete: recipe, oven profile, times, weights and sign-offs
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for ovens, mixers and packing machines, and troubleshoot breakdowns
• Manage raw material use and stock with the warehouse, and flag shortages early
• Lead, train and schedule line operators; enforce hygiene, safety and house rules on the floor
• Work with Quality on line checks and with R&D on new recipes and line trials

What you'll bring

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or Food Engineering
• 3–5 years of production experience in food manufacturing, ideally bakery, cakes or biscuits
• Hands-on experience with industrial mixers, ovens (rack or tunnel) and packing lines
• Comfortable with production planning, KPIs and basic lean tools (5S, root cause analysis)
• A clear communicator who leads from the floor
• Fluent Arabic; good English
• Able to work shifts and commute to the 10th of Ramadan

Nice to have

• Experience starting up a new line or factory
• Knowledge of flow-wrap or modified-atmosphere packaging machines
